The legendary heaviest man in the world married his blushing bride in Monterey, Mexico. Weighing in at a conservative 1200 lbs., Manuel Uribe was assisted by a team of men out of his home and onto a flat bed truck to be driven to his wedding on October 26th. Manuel doesn’t get out very often so this day stood as a momentous occasion on many counts. He’s spent the last 6 years in bed holding the Guinness title for World’s Heaviest Man. As you could imagine this type of fame garners a certain amount of attraction, and after many visitors on a quest to see the big slice of life, his dream woman came through the door to catch a glimpse of the fattest man in the world, and she never left. Claudia Solis has been with Manuel for two and a half years and has become a wonderful companion and girlfriend. Uribe, 43, has lost more than 400lbs since meeting Claudia and that weight loss is due to just watching what he eats, with help from Claudia of course.

The 38 year old bride expressed several times, that for her its irrelevant whether or not Manuel loses weight, she loves him as is and always will. The wedding took place at the posh Club de Leones and Five hundred guests were on hand to celebrate the nuptials as she descended a spiral staircase, dressed in a strapless beaded gown and tiara. The newlyweds are looking forward to their honeymoon, however it will take place in there home, as Manuel still cannot travel. The former mechanic is excited to be married, and says that he’s prayed for years for a woman like Claudia. She’s helped care for him in the months before their wedding and it is clear that she loves him unconditionally. The newlyweds partied till the wee hours of the morning to a live sound track of mariachi music and shouts of joy.

Certain skeptics may believe that there is something more to this equation. Does she have a hidden agenda? All signs point to a resounding no.
