Pardon my double use of the word in the title. It is just a way to distinguish the verity of my topic in that there's so much faddish hype around the "topic" at hand. Don't worry, this article is not about the current popular ideology known as "The Secret", which has it's origins in questionable mystic sources, materialism, and certain occult activity. This brief writing for global witness is about the secret secret that virtually no one is talking about other than one special person, I've come to adore. More on that person at another time. Let's stay focused here as not to abuse your time in this brief writing.

In what is the undisputed greatest selling, most mass published, and translated into world languages manuscript in the history of mankind a secret is revealed by the main character of the plot that is literally the key of all keys when it comes to effective living. It was in the aftermath of a certain public meeting where he had just addressed a huge number of people on the subject matter. The closest members of his entourage pulled him aside after the gathering asking him to explain some things he had spoken to crowd that day.

The tactful influencer that he was allowed him to realize that precise moment as the most teachable moment of all of time. Good thing those there were taking careful notes or else we wouldn't have records of this important lesson in actual, not mythical history. You see, they asked a particular question about him seeming to speak over people's heads. Isn't it interesting how independent thinkers (real time effective leaders) are often accused of such. But his classic response literally millenniums ago lends insight to how leaders and followers today perhaps should handle such inquiries.

The fact was then and is now, the truth is simply not palatable to the the taste buds of most people and therefore must be symbolically presented and preserved for the ones it's intended for. That's what he told them in more or less words. He added that truth is only intended for the inspired few who have the courage to dig beneath the surface of things. Though the secret is often rhetorically articulated for the masses, the secret secret is reserved for the few who possess the "it" in life that drives them to look beneath the surface of appearances and discover the heart of issues. Those who ask the questions to fill in their own blanks have the "it" in life.

In another part of this awesome bestselling manuscript, one of it's many collaborative authors under the same inspiration expounded on the "secret" factor of future improvements. He described "it" as the greatest common denominator among the heroic forefathers and the adventurers of globally historic events. But before he recorded thirty-five plus concise summary statements about the heroes who possessed such, he defined the "it" in elementary terms for for attentive pupils. The secret secret, according to this contributor, "is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen". Like the main character had in his own masterful terminology, this writer attributed all successes in human experience to "it".
