Who is my target market?
What are my services/ specialties?
How much is my planned expenses for marketing and advertising? Once you’ve plotted down your marketing plan, you’ll know which area to focus on. To advertise your business, you’ll have to start from scratch. The lowest of all budgets is word of mouth and direct sales. Visit your neighbors and offer your services. Create flyers to pass around, mail postcards, advertise in homeowners associations, newsletters, real estate publications, yellow pages, etc.
One important advice is never use pricing as a marketing tool. Professionals claim that for a business to boom, one has to be proud of his knowledge and stand firm on the prices. It is not a battle of competitively priced goods, instead, a battle of professionalism. To successfully market a company, you need to take time to hone the required skills and practice a lot. Never rush on things that won’t help in the growth of your business.
