Curb Your Carb Intake and Get Trim Fast

Do you want to know the secret to rapid safe weight loss? Curb your carb intake and get trim fast. There are many diets out there – some are really complicated, some tell you to stay away from carbs completely, and some tell you to carry around a scale. All of that is unnecessary! My experience is if you curb your carb intake, you will get trim fast. But first, you need to understand your body and you need to understand the different types carbs and what they do to your body that make it difficult for you to attain rapid safe weight loss.

Understanding Carbs and Your Body

There are two kinds of carbs – simple and complex. Simple carbs are all white products, e.g., white flour, white rice, and sugar. The foods that have these ingredients are cakes, pies, candy, etc. – all the things we love to eat. Complex carbs are fresh fruit and vegetables. The former group when eaten, spike your blood sugar then make you crash and leave you hungrier than ever. Then you reach for more sugar and the vicious cycle repeats. With the latter group, your body takes longer to digest and therefore, sugars are released at a slower rate. The result is that you feel fuller longer and therefore do not overeat. So the idea is to cut your carb intake – that is, your simple carb intake and increase your complex carb intake for rapid safe weight loss.

There are No Magic Pills To Lose Weight

There are no quick fixes or magic pills for rapid safe weight loss. If you want to get trim fast, you must curb your carb intake. Here are a few simple, but very important steps you can take to get trim fast:

1) Drink Water – Drinking water not only flushes out toxins from your body, but makes you feel full longer. In addition, drinking water helps speed up your metabolism. Here’s how. When you drink water, the body has to heat it up in order for it to get used efficiently and properly. Also, often times we eat because we think we are hungry, but the truth is, we’re just thirsty. At a minimum, drink 8 glasses of water a day. Your body will thank you for it.

2) Don’t Skip Breakfast– Skipping breakfast makes you ravenous by 10:00 a.m., making you reach for anything and everything. Not big on eating breakfast? Pack Wheat Thins and 2oz of low fat cheese (String Cheese is portable) and an apple or some other fresh fruit you like so that at 10:00 a.m., you can eat a well-balanced meal that won’t raise your blood sugar!

3) Just Say No To Sugar – Sugar is the hardest thing to give up. It’s extremely addictive. But if you want to lose weight, sugar must go! Your body stores it as fat. Also, sugar comes in many disguises, e.g., high fructose corn syrup, maltodextrin, dextrin. So you must now read labels carefully. If any of those items are in the first 4 ingredients, that means they are in high concentration for that product.

4) Eat Lean Protein Fruit and Vegetables – By eating lean proteins (egg whites, beans, salmon, lean cuts of beef, sardines) fruit and vegetables, you will automatically lose weight, as the vegetables serve as roughage, making you move your bowels, and cleansing your body. Also, fruit and vegetables are low in calories so naturally you are taking in less calories by eating these kinds of carbs in abundance.

5) Exercise - There’s no getting around it. If you want to get trim fast and attain rapid safe weight loss, there’s no better way than hopping on a treadmill and lifting light weights to tone you. Besides, muscle burns fat. Start slowly. I strongly suggest joining a gym as this gives you the most structure and there are many different machines from which to choose, making your exercise experience interesting. These are just a few quick tips to jumpstart your rapid weight loss diet.
