It’s the night before the big event, and you want to thank all the guests that have volunteered time, effort, and money to make your wedding into the spectacular event that it is. There’s no better way to do than to host a rehearsal dinner replete with all the best food, wine, and rehearsal dinner invitations. These invitations can be light, fun, and informal – because that’s how the rehearsal dinner is supposed to be.

Some people like to jazz up their invitations with themes. For example, if Italian is on the menu, then they will use an Italian-style theme. If French is up for the night, then French-style invitations are in order. This gives people an idea of what cuisine to expect, and gets them mentally prepared for the festive occasion ahead. Traditionally, rehearsal dinner invitations are a lot less cumbersome and expensive than the wedding invitations themselves, and they’re sent out a few weeks ahead of the dinner.

The rehearsal dinner is a time for the closest guests to kind of take stock of all their preparations up to that point. They’re able to get the big picture, and after a few drinks, give toasts, speeches, and acknowledgements. No one should be excluded from the big night. Even out-of-town guests will take part in the wedding rehearsal so they should be included in the rehearsal dinner. However, if budget is an issue, then only a few friends will be invited to the special rehearsal dinner. These small, intimate occasions are usually at someone’s house and not at a festive banquet hall. All cultures have different practices regarding the celebratory dinners of the night before.

It’s up to you how you make your rehearsal dinner, but you must send out the rehearsal dinner invitations. Some people honestly forget unless they have something to look at to remind them of the fun night ahead. Make sure to mention the type of cuisine, alcoholic drinks served, and desserts because this lures people into the rehearsal dinner that wouldn’t otherwise come. This is a usually a time for jokes, belly laughter, and lots of storytelling. No one should miss the rehearsal dinner. Don’t let them. Send out the invitations per force.

Some people opt for plates, knives, forks, spoons, or wine bottles on their rehearsal dinner invitations. These easy illustrations clearly bring to mind the wonderful appeal of tasty morsels of food. These delightful items will stir your guests’ appetites even before the primary event.
