Excuses - Laziness and Apathy
Exercise and eating right are such crucial components to getting and staying in shape. Unfortunately, here are some of the most common reasons people give for not being able to exercise and eat right. 1) Gym memberships are too expensive 2) No time 3) they have kids and a husband to tend to 4) they have kids and a husband who like to eat junk food and therefore it is impossible to not eat what they are eating. The truth of the matter is, there is a bit of laziness and apathy in all of those reasons. Let’s break them down one by one so that you can get your best body fast.
No More Excuses
Gym Memberships - Yes, gym memberships can be expensive, but they are worth it in the long run. The reason being, you are surrounded by a group of individuals who come together for a specific purpose – to exercise and lose weight. Let go of certain items you may have splurged on – like say your favorite perfume, and instead, put it towards your gym membership. Nowadays, there are many clubs that allow month-to-month agreements.
No Time
This dilemma boils down to time management – nothing more. Imagine if someone was going to offer you $8 billion dollars if you agreed to go to the gym 4 out of 7 days during the week. Believe me, you would find the time. When you find yourself making that excuse, think of the billion dollar offer. Then you will find ways to make time.
Husband and Kids & Junk Food- They can take care of themselves, or ask your hubby to lend a hand. After all, that is what he’s there for. Don’t act like he’s doing you a favor either by babysitting the kids. He made them with you so he can take care of them with you. Explain to them that mommy needs down time. Then take a time out for yourself every single day to prepare your meals just for you so you can get your best body fast. About junk food – let them have their junk food, but explain to them that mommy has her own special foods and that you would appreciate if they did not eat yours. In other words, set boundaries. These tips will go a long way in letting you get your best body fast.
