What is a closed door? What does it mean? Is it the end of your million dollar dream? Does it mean you have died and your life is over? Did you die alone with no one at your side to hold your hand? Does it mean you have closed the door on one life and opened the door to a new, more interesting life?
Right at the present time I am enjoying a beautiful fall day in a campground in Williamsburg, VA. The campground is set up like the old buildings in Williamsburg. It has all the amenities of a gated home community with pools, restaurants, club house, and tennis courts. People must purchase memberships to stay in this campground.
I am sitting outside at a picnic table writing this article the sun is out and the acorns are falling from the trees. As the acorns fall they sound like music all around the campground as they fall on the cars, trucks, RV’s, and travel trailers parked. The RV’s are expensive mobile homes. Most of the people that live in the RV’s are full timers. They have sold their homes and they live on the road 12 months a year.
It is hard for me to understand why I am the only one outside this morning. I have been sitting here for the last couple hours. All the doors as far as I can see are closed. The blinds are still down. Have you ever wondered what people do behind closed doors all day and evening in their private tombs? Do they beat their wives or kids, drink, use drugs or work on their hobbies.
This really is not unusual, because how many of your neighbors that live next door do you really know? People are so busy with life, working 15 hour days, kid’s activities, church activities, golf, and men’s/women’s groups. I can continue to name more and more reasons why doors are closed.
Are you really enjoying life? Do you know your wife, husband and kids? Are you tired or sick of your current life style? Do you want to change, but do not know how and where to start? Are you afraid to admit to yourself current job is not the dream job you wanted? Is your marriage in trouble? Are you in debt over your head? Do you parents need you to help take care of them in a state or country? If I could show you a way to change your current life style who you be interested?
I was in your shoes only a few years ago. I was a sales rep that had to work when my customers were ready to work. They did not want to work when they were earning money, so I worked nights, Saturdays and Sundays until one day at age 60 I said I have had enough. I quit my job with no job to replace it. My health and family were too important to me. I closed the door on my former life and opened a new door. I would this opportunity by a newspaper ad. I called and started the same day. I am my own boss. I can work when and where I want to work. I am currently in Virginia, but I am heading south for the winter like the birds. It will take me about a month to arrive in Orlando, FL.
My husband and I work this business together. We plan to visit one of our kids and grandchild until after the holidays. After January 1st I am really not sure where our life with turn. We are enjoying ourselves and our lives. We earn money everyday at anytime, anyplace. If you would like more information check out www.travelinggramma.net.
Have a wonderful life. You never know when our lives will cross. Keep your doors and life open.
