RECYCLING: Imagine floating in the sky in a shuttle and looking down at the earth. One might hope that looking down you might see all the wonderful things put together by humans on this earth, for example the Great Wall of China. Whilst this is the case, there's also one thing that may be seen from space the humans of this planet shouldn't be proud of the dump in Staten Island, NY.

Perhaps after viewing this from above it might inspire voters to recycle! If people start to recycle there are loads of advantages to the planet, like cleaner water for drinking and showering, and fitter plants and animals. It's reckoned that annually well over 1,000,000 sea mammals, turtles, and sea birds are rubbed out from litter.

Sometimes this includes threatened and endangered wildlife, and it may all be evaded if the population made a decision to recycle! Those unfamiliar with the recycling program might be wondering what they can and can't recycle! One can recycle glass bottles and jars, aluminum, card, paper bags, papers, metal cans, frozen food boxes, empty aerosol cans, and much more. One can't recycle Styrofoam packaging, sneakers, toxic product boxes, and ceramics. Big items may also be recycled,eg scrap metal from automobiles, siding, and window / doorway frames. As well as having the ability to recycle these items as it is ecological, scrap yards are at present paying top costs for aluminum, copper, brass, and other such metals. Loading up a van with scrap metal to recycle at the local scrap yard could make one a wide profit and help keep the planet a little bit cleaner! Whilst some towns, colleges, and companies already recycle continually, it is always a great idea to persuade those in ones own neighborhood to business. Petitions are a good way to let local judiciary know that many folk have an interest in helping in this process. It can be inspired not only to recycle the waste of that individual city or business, but also to help by incorporating using recycled papers and other materials into their business techniques. The more cities and companies hear that their voters, staff, or costumers value their recycling efforts the rather more likely they are to start to recycle on an once a day basis. On a smaller level, beginning to help by recycling in ones own home is also a great concept.

Each small bit helps.

Collect old papers, egg cartons, and mags rather than throwing them out every week and give them to colleges for art projects. Old clothing can always be given to local charities instead of making more waste in landfills, and old furniture. If old clothing and blankets are now not in good condition, local animal shelters are always short of these items for rags or pet bedding.

Don't forget, before polluting the earth more than it already is, there's one thing to do : recycle!

Richard Turner is a authority when it comes to Recycling. He even has a huge website devoted solely to helping people learn about it. You can check out his site here.
