Once they’re on your list you start building a relationship with them to gain their trust. Then you email them on a frequent basis. You recommend your products or you endorse other people’s products. Ultimately your customer makes a purchase, and you make money. There are the 4 things you will need to succeed at opt marketing.

1. You will need a ravenous crowd.

These people will have a specific need and/or problem. They will want a solution to their problem. They need to have the money to spend to acquire that solution.

2. A solution is required for their need and/or problem.

You will need to have a product of your own to sell them. If you do not have your own product you can locate a product through an affiliate program. Whichever you choose you need to be able to solve the problem and/or need for your ravenous crowd.

3. Probably the most obvious thing you will need is a website.

Your website is important for opt marketing. This is where you will put your opt-in form, also called a squeeze page. Visitors to your site will provide their name and email address.

4. Last but not least you will need an auto responder.

The auto responder is probably the most important components to opt marketing. This is the software that gives you the code that puts the box on your website for people to join your list. The auto responder is also what allows you to send out multiple messages over a long period of time. You load all your messages at once and they will go out automatically. You can also setup a mass mail that will go out to everyone on your email list.

Trust comes from the relationship you build with your customers. You need a ravenous crowd with money to spend and a solution to their problem and/or need.
