Avoid leaving out important links to your website. Many businesses make the mistake of leaving out important contact information. Always keep your website address and linking info where users can see them.

Do not use frames and flash intros. Frames are outdated and may not sit well with many browsers. Flash intros that are too slow to download are asking too much from your customers.

Do not ask customers to install software just so they can view your website. Most customers are wary of installing new stuff, and if you ask them to install anything, they will simply march off your website, and get the product from somewhere else!
