Affiliate review pages are web pages that have 3 different affiliate products in the same niche. A review of each product is offered with a star system. The first product gets 5 stars, the second 4 stars and the third 3 stars.

This has become a popular method because you have 3 products that you have an opportunity to make a commission on and if you use google adwords then you have a relevant landing page to the keywords you are bidding on, which in turn will give you a high quality score. The better the quality score you have the less you will pay for each click on your ad.

These pages are also very helpful with google adwords because adwords only allows one visible domain name to be shown for each keyword. This is determined by the quality score. So if you are advertising an affiliate product that has high competition, then your ad may not be shown or have a poor ad position. A poor ad position will cause you to have fewer people see your ad, fewer clicks and probably a higher cost per click. By having a review page you have it hosted on your own domain name and that problem with google is solved.

By placing your reviews in an adsense template you now have 2 streams of income on one page. The google ads that are shown will be relevant to the content on the page. So if the visitor to your site does not like the products you have reviewed then they might see an ad they like and click on the link. You get paid for the click and you have converted a visitor into a sale.

The money you receive from the adsense click will not be as much as a commission from a sale, but that click on the adsense ad can help pay for the adwords click.

Another advantage of the adsense template is that they are professionally designed and show that you are a legitimate web site business. If you just slap up some web page with your affiliate links then the best bet is that any visitor to your site will not buy from you because they will not trust you. A professional looking site will only increase your sales.

Look for an adsense template that can be easily edited and can be customized to your specifications. Some things to look for are:

• PSD source files included These files have all the layers and text included.

• Windows bitmap version These files are uncompressed so you can edit them without losing any resolution. They can also be opened in MS Paint which comes standard on Windows PC. This is helpful if you do not have Photoshop.

• NO limit on how much content can be added

The last thing is to make sure that the template was not built with dozens of photoshop image ready slices. Templates made this way usually cause something to be pushed out of place which messes up the design of the site. This will be a big headache for you when adding content to the page.
