I know you have heard in the news how even the most savvy of investors got scammed out of $50 billion dollars. This goes more toward greed than it does to common since. Many people can Scam you into becoming a scammer off of their inflated reputation. One person was able to market himself out to investors as the top person in his field and based off word of mouth and the draw of exclusivity people willingly gave him their money without knowing how their money would be invested. All they knew is that someone else said they got favorable returns regardless of the economy.

Since I've started Internet Marketing I've been offered to join into some of the most worthless business opportunities on the planet. It takes a critical thinker and someone to separate themselves from their greed to really recognize a scam. You are more susceptible to teaming up with a scammer when your into business for pure greed. Greed allows you to be transformed.

Answer this; Why do you want to start your own business? Is it because your tired of being envious of other people with nice houses, cars clothes and jewelry? Do you want someone to be envious of your material wealth? If this is the case then business sales pitches with money, cars and sexual innuendos will attract your attention more so than a business opportunity that makes sense and can be used to improve a process or the lives of others.

Lets face it, if you really look at some of the "make money online" business opportunities they are only set up to promote the idea of promoting the business to others so they can sign up (usually for a fee) then get others roped up into the endless cycle of "promoting" a business sometimes with a product that no one can really use. Does Multi Level Marketing (MLM) come to mind? When you look at some of these products they aren't anything revolutionary or new, you just have a bunch of people pitching it to a bunch of people.

The fact is that any legit business opportunity pitched a certain way can leave you asking "is this a scam"? This is because rip off artists look for the opportunity to make a fast buck off of otherwise legit businesses by making you think if you cut corners you will see profits beyond your wildest dreams. You wind up spending valuable time looking for a shortcut when you could have been building your business the right way.

To pitch products with marketability but little to no usability you have to convince your market how they would use the product. If someone has to try to hard to show you how to use a product or service then that business opportunity may not be for you.

Great products and ideas are not only marketable but when they are presented the "market" already knows how they can use them.

Right now online video and radio are gaining popularity, some people have an online show which is fine and dandy but how does that show make money? Do they make money by marketing "the idea" to others or are they making money from advertisers who pay for ad space on their show?
