Selling copies of any book should be pretty easy, especially if you are using Amazon. Now, you are not going to make as much money per sale if you put your book on Amazon, but you will most likely end up with more sales than all the other strategies put together when you follow some Amazon strategies that I recommend.

First of all, when you put your book on Amazon, you want to create a blog. If you’re the author of a publication, Amazon allows you to create your own blog. Every time you add a blog, it’s going to go back to your page. When somebody does buy your book through Amazon, you’re going to be able to communicate with them via your blog because otherwise you’re never going to know who those customers are.

Another thing most people don’t realize is that when you are a recognized author of a book, you can give feedback on other books. So what I would suggest, if you have your book listed on Amazon, go and look at the top 100 other books on Amazon that are inside your category and you might want to give them reviews. You want to give a real review so you may want to actually read the books as well.

Then underneath your name put "Author of…" whatever the name of your book is. What this is doing is building links back internally through the system to have people go back to your page and click on a link to go buy your book, too. That’s a great strategy to implement. I came up with this strategy one day when I was thinking, "How can I sell a lot of books without having to email out to my list and not ask any of my friends or use any resources or by not using my previous strategies?" That was the challenge I gave myself one day and that’s what I came up. Evidently, it worked really well! By using this strategy, I got my book in the top thousand really quickly just by doing this.

You’ll also need to do a few more things… You’re also going to need is a sales page. This "landing page" as it’s usually referred to, is going to be your virtual sales letter that you’ll use to sell your book. You’re also going to need a merchant account to process your orders and a domain name that matches the name of your book. If you don’t have a merchant account and want to get started fairly quickly, simply sign up for a Paypal account so that you’ll be able to accept orders immediately.

Another thing that I highly urge you to do is if you’ve got your own list already established, why not send out an email to them and say, "Hey, I’ve got a new book," then send them to your sales letter. You could also go out and find joint venture partners to start selling it or you could actually create a bestseller campaign if you wanted to.

Any and all of these strategies are very powerful at getting your book recognized and hopefully have sales start coming in. I highly urge you to start implementing these strategies if you already have an existing book or are in the process of completing it. You’re sure to see positive results!
