So what easier way to begin learning to be an efficient communication is to understand the person closest to you : yourself.

1. What you know.

Education is all about learning the basics, but to be an efficient spokesman is to practice what you have learned. My stint as guest at every Toastmasters' meeting I'm going to taught me that we all have our limitations, but that does not imply we will not learn how to keep up and share what we think we know.

It's just as vital as asking queries.

3. So in a group, don't be scared to ask if you are announcing the right word correctly and if they are uncertain about it then make a joke out of it. I guarantee you it'll make everybody giggle and you can get away with it as well.

4. Eye Contact

There's a lot to claim when it comes to directing your attention to your audience with an attention-grabbing gaze. That way, you will get the eye of the bulk of the bunch and they will feel that you're just as receptive, and as human to those that listen.

6. Me, Myself, and I

Admit it, there are times you sing to oneself in the shower. I'm aware that I do! Listening to the sound of your own voice whilst you practice your speech out front of a mirror can help correct the strain areas of your pitch. And whilst you are at it you can spruce up too. With a grin

A grin asserts it all much like eye contact. You can better express what you are exclaiming when you grin.

9. An idol

There must be at least 1 or 2 folks in your life you have listened to when they are at a public gathering or perhaps at church. Sure they read their lines, but taking a psychological note of how they emphasise what they are saying will help you when you take prime position.

Make the best out of preparation instead of just scribbling notes and frequently in a hurried panic. Some folks like to pen things down on index cards, whilst other resort to being a touch more daft as they look at their notes written on the palm of their hand ( not for damp hands, please ). Just be ok with what you know since you enjoy your work.
