For anyone to undertake an article writing campaign and expect positive results there needs to be a commitment of time and resolve. Many expect that article marketing will yield quick results and this is not the case. Your two biggest allies when writing articles will be your own consistency and patience.

Submitting articles to online directories should not be done in a whimsical fashion. A consistent schedule should be maintain when writing articles allowing you a steady supply of fresh content that can submitted on a regular basis. It is in this area where many have the most difficulty. You see writing an article is not all that difficult as opposed to maintaining the discipline to continue your writing efforts.

Today we're going to discuss the steps you can take in your writing process that will seemingly minimize your efforts while easily increasing your article output.

Establish Monthly Goals

The first step you need to take is to determine the number of articles you want to produce spread over a monthly basis. Don't let the goals you set be overly ambitious since you must take into consideration your own abilities and time constraints.

Upon establishing how many articles you want to produce monthly simply break it down into a weekly production schedule. Taking it one step further consider a daily writing schedule if time allows. Suffice is to say the more often you write the less time you'll invest in it in one sitting.

Establish Your Writing Schedule

Now you want schedule the time that works best for you and your schedule as to when you will write articles. Some people may prefer the evening and some are more creative first thing in the morning. Once again we all have other demands upon our time and these must also be considered.

When setting a schedule to write articles realized that there is no one schedule that works for everyone. Setting aside the time that is best for you and when you can be most productive is a personal choice when establishing your writing schedule. The most important thing here is that when you've decided upon a schedule that you STICK WITH IT!

Your consistency is the single most important factor which will determine the success of your article marketing efforts.

Adding Your Perspective

Once you've completed your article research and you've got all your information in front of you use it ONLY as reference material. After the time you've already invested in the research you should have a pretty good grasp of the material you've collected allowing you to pretty much ignore it. This will serve you well since you can now put your own 'spin' and perspectives on the topic while also helping to speed up the writing process. By not continually referring to your research material you won't be disrupting your own thought pattern allowing you to work through the writing process that much quicker.

Focus on Sub-Topics

By focusing on sub-topics as you write each article you're allowing your content to more thoroughly cover those smaller issues relevant to the main subject. By following up each article with another based upon a related sub-topic you'll end up covering the main subject more comprehensively. This generally proves to more helpful to the reader.
