Levitra
Commonly marketed under the trade name Levitra, Vardenafil helps relax muscles and increase blood flow to particular areas of the body, including the penis. As with all ED drugs, however, a rare risk of an erection lasting longer than four hours also exists with Levitra. A prolonged erection can damage the penis.
Levitra does not protect against physically transmitted diseases. You must only take this drug if it is right enough for you and you are healthy enough for the physical activity involved. Levitra does not work on its own; it can only work along with physical stimulation so that an erection is achieved. Levitra should be taken about 30 to 60 minutes before physical activity. Levitra has been proven to improve the quality of erections in men who are afflicted with ED because of underlying health issues such as diabetes or high blood pressure.
Levitra is available in strengths of 2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg and 20mg. The usual starting dose of Levitra is 10mg once per day (60 minutes prior to physical activity). Vardenafil is the active ingredient in Levitra. In addition, each Levitra tablet also contains:
• Microcrystalline cellulose • Crospovidone • Colloidal silicon dioxide • Magnesium stearate • Hypromellose • Polyethylene glycol • Titanium dioxide • Yellow ferric oxide • Red ferric oxide
Certain precautions must be taken when taking Levitra medicine:
• Do not take Levitra if you are also using a nitrate drug for chest pain or heart problems • Take this medicine as prescribed by doctor • Do not store in the bathroom • Take each dose with a full glass of water. • Do not take this medication more than once a day • Take Levitra one hour before physical activity with or without food • Keep Levitra away from children and pets • Take this medication only after you have gone through all the susceptible allergies with your doctor • Do not share this medication with others; it is a prescription drug that is meant only for you
Levitra for Male Impotence Treatment
In recent times effective ED drugs, including Levitra have been invented. As almost 90% of men go through erectile dysfunction at some points of their lives, these drugs can greatly help them with their problem as well as their self-esteem. In spite of the drugs being expensive and fraught with side effects, these ED medicines, including Levitra have proven to be very successful in a range of ED problems.
However use of the ED drugs cannot cure erectile dysfunction for good. ED drugs like Levitra work only for the moment and must be used on an as-need basis to combat the problem. Levitra is an approved drug which helps achieve a hard erection within a period of 5-6 hours of taking the drug. Levitra is a selective inhibitor of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP)-specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). Levitra’s primary active ingredient, Vardenafil aids in generating guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) which stimulates blood flow into the penis. This continuous supply of blood helps retain the erection which returns to normal after conclusion of the sex act.
