Private Label Rights or PLR is essentially a license to resell, modify or claim as your own certain products that you have purchased. Although some PLR products do contain limitations, (so be sure to read each individual license carefully) that's PLR in a nutshell.

To make money with Private Label Rights products you can do many things.

For those products that come with a sales page (and many of them do) you can set it up on your own domain and simply resell the PLR product "as is", and keep all of the money you make for yourself.

You can create a download site and sell a multitude of PLR products. Or package several PLR eBooks into one product and sell that. You could cover several aspects of a particular niche using this process. For example, you could have an ebook, a PLR article pack, a sales page and one or more PLR reports all in the same niche. Gather all these products together and sell them on your site as a "complete niche package" .

You could completely modify an existing PLR ebook in any niche. Update the contents to be current; add your take – your view – of the product to the eBook. Modifying an eBook to be compatible with your personality truly makes it your own product. Sell your new eBook on your website, or enter it into ClickBank and get hundreds of affiliates helping you to sell your product!

Find a good, but outdated copy of PLR software and have someone redo it for you. The cost to do this would easily be 2/3 of what it would cost to have someone create software from scratch. Now you have a completely new software product that you can either sell from your website or through ClickBank as mentioned above. Software is a hot item and if it's a product that makes life easier for Internet Marketers, it WILL sell.

One of the best, and easiest, ways to make money with PLR products is to find PLR articles and rewrite them. You can then use these articles to promote your own products, products that you're an affiliate for or you can repackage them and sell as a PLR article pack. You can sell a PLR article pack of 10 articles for about $10. To have an original article written for you costs anywhere from $10-$25 per article. Especially if you limit the number of copies you sell – you can make a lot of money with this procedure. Make sure, however, that you rewrite the articles by at least 60% or more!
