The incredibly beautiful city of Naples is located on the West coast of Florida, between Miami and Ft. Myers. Once the province of native Indians, the amazing white sandy beaches are now astoundingly striking as they overlook the awesome sunsets that can be viewed over the Gulf of Mexico from it’s splendid T shaped 600’pier.

Socially, the area once boasted Thomas Edison, Greta Garbo, Harvey Firestone, Hedy Lamarr, and even Gary Cooper as its visitors. At the present, there are still many stars who come to the stunning shores of Naples, but now they come not to be seen, but to hide among its pristine beauty!

Naples has an incredible amount of entertainment to offer. From being one of the most prized fishing spots of the world, you can use the warm temperate waters to catch an abundance of fish, even from the shore of the Gulf of Mexico, to rivers, streams, canals and back waters. Wherever you fish you can be assured of having a great time fishing.

Boating is also a prime pastime in Naples, and many restaurants even have docking areas set aside for hungry boaters. You may take commercial boats, rent either a power or wind powered boat, or even rent a catamaran to navigate our sparkling waters.

We have a plethora of golf courses, both private and public, and we also feature driving ranges. There are some incredible private golf country clubs in Naples! They actually number over 80 championship golf courses in Naples, thus we are known as the Golf Capital of the World!

There is also a wonderful cluster of attractions to visit in Naples, such as the Naples Zoo, the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, and we even have the Florida Everblades ECHL hockey team as well as the Florida Firecats af2 arena football team. There’s also the Coastland Shopping Center featuring Macy’s, Sears, J.C. Penney as well as Dillard’s. It also boasts Ruth’s Chris Steak House, The Cheesecake Factory, and has kiddie rides available too.

Naples is also renowned for its "gallery row" featuring a great number of art galleries, and we also have an antiques district. Many cultural arts are featured in our beautiful Philharmonic Center of the Arts, including such headliners as Bill Cosby. Other cultural attractions include The Naples Players, Sugden Theater, as well as The Philharmonic Center of Naples, among others.

There are also a number of nightclubs available, and of course some of our larger hotels also feature nightclubs. At the moment we have approximately 12 movie houses. We even have a drive in, for those who are into nostalgia!

Our Five Star Naples Florida Ritz Carlton is the epitome of a grand and lush visit in Naples. Every guest room faces the incredible views afforded by the Gulf of Mexico, and is built in a style reminiscent of the old seaside resorts that brought down the afore mentioned stars of yesteryear.

No wonder Naples is part of Florida’s Paradise Coast with its swaying coconut palms as well as the sweeping white-sand beaches! This promises to be a one-of-a-kind tropical ambiance vacation.
