We Should Teaching Kids about Abundance and Prosperity because…

Abundance is for Kids Too!

Ah, Abundance – and enormous serving of wealth, health, happiness, and more wrapped up into one very beautiful word dripping with dazzle, and symbolizing worthiness. Abundance is what we earn when we are retired, silver-haired ‘old biddies’ (a term my grandma gave herself btw), who have been through the throes of hard work and hardships. Abundance is kind of like the life-time achievement award issued to those in their twilight years whom have dedicated their entire existence to surviving the school of life. It’s a treasured gift for a job well-done, and is often disguised in the form of the hundred-foot-long $350,000.00 Airstream towing a Beamer.

For years, I had developed the notion that abundance was not necessarily material items, but that it was a perfectly peaceful state of being… to be enjoyed by only seniors. Kind of like being given a nice healthy dose of Heaven before actually going there.

But why did I think that? Why on Earth would I think that life’s wonderful luxuries happen upon only those who were born with a silver spoon or those who are over-the-hill?

I was programmed that way. It isn’t wrong and no one is to blame – it just… is. Every other sitcom I grew up watching had a butler or a housekeeper, swimming pools, nice flashy things, and full-sized arcade games in their living room! And my mom never hesitated to wish me luck next time around with being born to a wealthy family.

As I got older, I completely slipped into the role of mom, and noticed on many occasions, that my mother’s very words were being said again – only this time they were coming out of my mouth to my kids. Similar lives were being led – with the same financial struggles, the same complaints, and astonishingly, the same thoughts were being had. It’s like a loop; we do what we know.

But there is more to abundance than just being wealthy, and abundance isn’t something to only look forward to when you’re old enough to carry a senior’s card. I am so grateful for that day that the Universe hooked me up with a little movie called The Secret, and set the record straight once and for all that my former thoughts, feelings, and beliefs were completely bunk, because I have never been the same since! I deserve all the luxuries that life has to offer, and I am excited by my own potential to do great things. However, I often wish that I didn’t have to work at thinking a new way. I wish that I just knew it all along, because that is what I was taught, and now it’s second nature.

I have been motivated to not only continue to educate myself, but to also teach my children about the power of positive thinking, and that they, too, deserve all of life’s countless rewards. With the combination of positive parenting and the Law of Attraction, kids should be able to see their goals and dreams as being attainable and highly possible through not only suggestion but by our own example. With the right support, our children should know that their potential is limitless. But how?

There are a lot of wonderful resources available for parents in every subject; however, so many of those parents can be left completely discouraged at the end of a book should their one burning question be left unanswered. I should know… I have been one of those parents.

We invite you to join us in an exciting journey where our aim is to help our children use the Law of Attraction to become masters of their own beautifully abundant design!
