The idea of a man going through menopause may sound crazy to some, but it actually does happen. Male menopause is also known as andropause, and can also be early menopause just as in a woman, where it occurs earlier on in a man’s life, typically considered to be any time before the thirty year old mark.

Irritability, lowered sex drive, night sweats, fatigue, and muscle pain, these are all possible symptoms that a man may exhibit if he is going through menopause.

If you are with a guy who is going through this, you may be confused yourself, but you are going to have to be there and be strong for them. Men are not used to being associated with this condition and so it is very hard for them to come to terms with it. You need to make them realize how important it is for them to go ahead and get treatment and make sure that they go forth with it and continue it if it means that they are going to have relief of their menopausal symptoms.
