Computers have brought improvements to almost every place of modern life, which is now true also in old secret knowledge about numbers - Numerology. The oldest and most precise Numerological system is Chaldean Numerology originated in Babyilonia between the Tigris and the Euphrates. Software that I'm presenting in this article is based on Chaldean system.

In old days, or even just a few years ago, you had to visit a special person, Numerologist to get a reading, or you had to learn and study a diverse system of numbers and calculations to make numerological analysis for yourself. This is now all changed with Numerology application for Mac and PC.

Let's say you can have your own numerologist always ready to give answers with a few clicks on your Mac or PC. A small widget on my Mac is a nice red contribution to the inhabitants of my Dashboard. It has a very clean design and it is very simple to use. I don't need to do any calculations on paper anymore. I don't even need to open my old numerology book to get explanations for numbers - it is all included in this tiny widget. I think I look much more professional with my PowerBook when I do the reading for my clients and friends.

Widget is separated in three main tabs: NAME, KEY and MATCHING.

When widget opens NAME tab is displayed. In the input field you enter your name (or your client's or friend's name) and while you're typing name analysis is already being calculated. A click on big red number - that is your main or full name number - opens its explanation. There are also sub calculations (smaller red numbers) for your first name, last name and middle name separately. In fact every separate word that is entered has its own numerological sub-number displayed - which is very good to examine the full name in detail.

If your name number is unlucky, you can try to change some letters within your name (in the way that you don't change pronunciation) to get a better numerological result. If you find a better name, you might consider to use changed version of your name in writing. In some countries it is possible to legally completely change your name, but don't go too astray with this idea - I know some people who now have really strange, but very lucky names.

This tab is not used only for personal names, but also for analysis of company or organization name. I use it when me or my client is choosing a new name for the product and I always use it to check the domain name before registering it.

First tab (name numerology) is usually what most of the people expects from Numerology - their name explanation - is it lucky or not? But there is much more to see in numerology reading.

When you click on KEY tab, you need to enter the day and month of your birthday in the first and the second field to get KEY and SUBKEY calculated. These two numbers are the most important numbers in numerological reading. They are used to examine relations with other people or any other subject (company, love partner, business partner etc.) Every number is in harmony with some other numbers in Chaldean system. For example if your KEY and your partner's name number match (are in harmony), it means your relationship has good potential. There is also a special case when your KEY and SUBKEY match - this means a special blessing on the course of your life, you are born under a lucky star.
