What do you get when you take a home designer, a computer specialist, a writer, an artist, and a digital photographer? Serendipity that evolved into the artistic site called www.homemarketviews.com. It all started with a quick web site to sell a home online. We noticed high visitor logs with extended viewing length and returned visits.

People called us on the phone to ask about the home, which is normal when selling a home. However, others were not interested in buying the home, but inquired about the furniture. Then a realtor asked us an interesting question. Could we digitally furnish an empty room? Out came the camera, and we took pictures of empty rooms. Our computer specialist worked magic. Then calls came in from just plain folks wanting to know where we got this item, or where we found that item. One man saw a blue and black rug and asked for the name of the manufacturer. We explained the rug’s coloring was created in a software program, but learned of a retailer that would create a custom rug if they had a photo idea of the color, style and design.

We all got together and perfected our craft. The home designer gave us a new challenge. Could we take the same room, and create different styles of design, such as traditional, contemporary, southwest, modern or transitional?. Another motivation was to use furniture people could actually purchase. If an interior designer or the do it yourself type viewed the room, could they find the furniture? Once again, we went to the drawing board. Actually, we went to our computers and partnered with Amazon.com.

An interior designer explained the hardest part of her job was color theme. The artist in our group loved to view archive photos of oil paintings through history and challenged us to create room colors based on fine art. The writer of the group stated we needed to name the room designs like painters name their artwork. Our computer specialist implemented the idea of viewers finding an instant purchase item by moving the mouse around on each room. That’s right; see if you can find that special item in each room design.

The collective ideas of different people sparked this new web site www.homemarketviews.com with the luxury of versatility showing the same room with various types of designs and color themes. We would love to hear from our viewers, which rooms are favorite, least favorite and room designs they would like to see in the future. www.homemarketviews.com strives to become the online room design gallery for Interior Designers and those who want the joy of doing it themselves. Watch us grow as we add new rooms, articles, and new products monthly.
