Lipstick is one of the easiest and quickest ways to transform your appearance. Lips and eyes are the most important focal points of your face so one must pay special attention to these areas while doing makeup. Lipstick staining your teeth makes you look extremely shabby. It helps keep your color looking balanced and accentuates your smile and friendly face. Applying lipstick with moisturizers and sun protection is one effective way to protect the lips from weather changes. Applying lipstick after drawing a crisp lip outline is an important key in the finishing touch since it helps to keep the color from bleeding.
Makeup removers are very necessary for cleaning the skin from makeup. There are large numbers of women with normal skin, used cleanser before going to bed at night for removing makeup from the surface of the skin. Removing the makeup in the evening is a must in order to let your skin breathe and regenerate during the whole night. There are two types of makeup - oily and non oily. Non oily makeup is such things as eye shadow, blushes, and powdered makeup. Oily types are lipsticks, rouge, mascara, and liquid makeup.
Using a dry towel or absorbent pad press on the stain to draw moisture and stain particles out of the surface area. Continue this pattern using an alternating combination of saturation and pressure until the stain is removed. If the stain still remains you may want to try flushing the area with water and adding a few drops of ammonia. This will further help to draw out the stain. Cover it with a towel or absorbent pad and allow it to absorb the stain.
Define the outline of your lips with a professional lip brush or lip liner pencil that closely matches the color of your lipstick. Then apply your lipstick and blend the liner with a lip brush. Start from the center working outwards.
When trying on any type of lip color, use your lower lip as a guide. The lower lip is fuller than the upper lip and is what will be seen first when people approach you. So if the color looks good on your lower lip, it is a keeper!
Always drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated. This will also help to reduce chapped lips. Scrub your lips gently to remove dry skin for smooth application of lipstick
Use a lip balm to moisturize your chapped lips as and when necessary. Buy those with at least SPF15 in them to prevent lip burn. When buying a lipstick, get those with moisturizing ingredients. Apply moisturizer to your lips as a skincare treatment.
The first thing before you apply makeup is to be clean. Have your face washed with your favorite soap and let it dry before application. The problem with not having a clean face may eventually clog your pores. Furthermore, the makeup ingredients will likely blot over and will leave a strange feeling, good hygiene is always a must in beautifying faces.
When starting on the lips, you can just either follow the lip line or ditching the pencil for lining the lips. You can just brush it gently using a lipstick. You can also use a lipstick brush for preference.
