The Internet would be nothing without search engines. It is the most used aspect of the Internet to find what you are looking for. And that is why link popularity is so important. You have no chance of making any sales if no one can find your website.

Tell the webmaster that they have a good site, and you enjoy reading it. Make sure you emphasize that you have actually visited their site, and that their site is not just a random pick. You want to also give them the address where you placed their link so they can view it. Tell them reciprocating this will increase their websites link popularity and bring more targeted traffic. You then want to briefly explain why link popularity is good. Ask the webmaster nicely if they will add a link back to your website.

Repeat this process as many times as you wish, taking into consideration the quality and relevance of the website.
