NO WAY! Ebay offers one of the best affiliate programs on the internet. Fact: Ebay has over 26,000 product categories. When a customer is sent to Ebay through your affiliate tracking link, their buying choices are almost limitless! A normal affiliate program offers customers just a few choices in one particular category. For example, a tire website might sell just tires and tire accessories. An office supply website will sell just office supplies. On the other hand, Ebay offers your customers(referrals) everything under the sun, new AND used items, thereby, increasing your chances of banking a commission more often. Like the saying goes,"If it's not on Ebay, you don't need it!"

How do you become an Ebay affiliate? Simple. Ebay uses Commission Junction(cj.com) to manage their affiliate program. Go to cj.com and register as a new user. You'll type in the usual information: name, address, phone number, email address, etc. Also, the registration form will ask you for your website address. If you don't have one of your own, just type in Ebay.com. Furthermore, you will have to enter in you social security number or ein for tax purposes. This is just in case you earn more than $600 in commissions during the year. After all that, cj.com will send you an email confirmation and then, you're in!

How do I use it? At my website, www.chevrolet-corvette.org, I use an Ebay affiliate marketing tool that lets me place actual Corvette auction listings on my web page with just a few clicks. Very easy! To see an example, just visit my page and scroll down. When someone clicks on one of the auctions, my affiliate link takes them directly to Ebay. And hopefully, takes a commission to my cj.com account. The tool that I use is one of many in which you can choose. I can use text links, banners, auction listings, just to name a few. And all of these links are embedded with my unique affiliate code. By the way, all of the link set-ups are done easily at the Affiliate Tools page at Ebay.

What do I get paid? Currently, if you send someone to Ebay and they register as a new user and bids on anything whatsoever, you earn a taut $12. If that person or any other registered user is the winning bidder or wins a Buy-It-Now auction, you get an escalating commission starting at 40% of what Ebay collects in fees.

If you're looking for a great affiliate program, go check out what Ebay.com has to offer!
