Email Support Tips to Fix Some of the Common Email Problems

Now-a-day's everybody use E-mails. E-mail is one of the primarily text-based human communications systems. There are lots of E-mail client application program available some of them are free or some of them are paid; like Eudora, Thunderbird, Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo mail, AOL, Elm, Pine etc.

There are two Email client that are available from Microsoft, Microsoft outlook ( it is paid) and
Outlook Express (it is free with windows operating system). If you want to use theses two E-mail client then you would have to configured those into your computer. You have to troubleshoot all problem related to these two E-mails client by your own, but thanks to some of the third party technical support organizations which are in these business that provides email technical support for your needs. The other are resolved and taken care by their respective domain or server.

Some common e-mail related problem and how to fix them:

1. If you are using Outlook and you are not able to send e-mails any how. The most common reasons for not being able to send emails through Outlook are wrong Outlook settings or it may be SMTP Port 25 is blocked by the ISP. However you can check these settings in outlook; Incoming mail server (POP3/IMAP server) domain name, Outgoing mail server (SMTP server) domain name, User name: the full e-mail address like email@yourdomain.com, SMTP authentication must be enabled for the login to be successful. If the problem is somewhat which is not be able to take care about at individuals end you can look for Microsoft email support

2. When you are getting error that your "SMTP server is refusing your connection to attempts, then what the reason behind it? Some time Internet Service Providers are blocking the standard SMTP Port (25 Port) to prevent Spaming or bulk messaging being sent from their networks. In this case you can change the SMTP port 25 to 2525 or you should call your ISP.

3. If you are not able to send mails with attachments, then it might be possible that a local virus protection antivirus or any security software in your computer detect that attachment is either not permitted or is infected by a virus. In this case you should try to disable your security software before sending your mails. Some time the file extension is found in the forbidden extension list on the mail server. As some e-mail server not prefer to send .exe file extension as their attachment.

4. 4.In case if you are not receiving the emails. There are several reasons behind it, like temporary mail server problems, wrong mail client account settings, exceeded space quota of the email account, incorrect records of the your mail domain.

5. Problem with slow emails and their attachment download. This situation usually comes due to slow Internet connection and huge emails size. You should check the speed of your local connection and your ISP connection as well.
