Every human being, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody extraordinary, someone big. Who hasn't fantasized about being the one who won an Emmy award? Who hasn't dreamed of being the chief executive officer (CEO) of a multi-billionaire company? And how many times have we dreamed of being wealthy, or victorious, or blissful with our relationships?

Repeatedly, we dream gigantic dreams and have enormous aspirations. Unluckily, our dreams stay put just that - dreams. And our aspirations simply collect dust in our attic.

This is a heartbreaking twist of events in our existence. Instead of experiencing thrilling adventures in self actualization, we get trapped up in the monotonous of living from day-to-day just scarcely existing.

But you know what? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to aspire privileged.

The most regular dilemma to setting goals is the declaration of impossible in our life. Most people get hung up belief I can't do this. It's too hard. It's too impossible. No one can do this. Then we just sitting comfortably on our beloved beautiful couch in front of our beloved television watching somebody else climbing the everest! Next, watching another show "The Apprentice" where somebody else making millions of money while we still sitting on the couch!

On the other hand, if everyone thinking that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, and no breakthroughs in human being triumph. We still living inside the cave, eating wild animal and moving from one place after another trying to make a living. Then we will never be able to know what is the television is.

Learn by heart that scientists were mystified when they took a gaze at the humble bumblebee. In theory, they assumed, it was not possible for the bumblebee to fly. Regrettably for the bumble, bee no one has told it so. So fly it does.

Conversely, a number of general population endure from dreaming totally despicable dreams and not performing on them. The result? Wrecked dreams, and torn aspirations. They stick into their day after day life, working like a slave with no heart, always complaining about many things, calculating budget after a day of salary being paid and blaming other people for every difficulties.

If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will in no way be capable to rupture past what you believe impossible. If you get to excessively far out into the sky with no working towards your goal, you will stumble on yourself cling on to the impossible dream. Then you keep asking why you still not be able to reach your dream.

Try this implementation. Get a piece of paper and note down several goals in your life. Under one heading, list down things 'you recognize you be able to do'. Under a different heading, write down the things 'you might be able to do.' And under another, list the things that that are 'impossible for you to do.' So you have 3 different heading with the list of things.

Now look intently at all the headers make every effort each day to achieve the goals that are under things 'you recognize you can do'. Check them once you are able to achieve them. As you little by little are able to check all of your goals under that heading, try accomplish the goals under the other header-the one that reads 'you might be able to do.'

As of the items you wrote under things "I recognize I can do" are accomplished, you can change the header for goals that are under things that are 'impossible for you to do' to the list of things 'you might be able to do.'

As you iterate all the way through this course of action, you will discover that the goals you thought were impossible become easier to achieve. And the impossible begin to appear possible finally. At this moment, you will feel in your heart how the accomplishment will encourage you to do more. Your brain will widely open for the new adventure in your life. You will become happier than before.

You see, the practice here is not to limit your thoughts. It is to aim high, and begin working towards that goal bit by bit. Nevertheless, it also is reckless to set a goal that is truly impracticable. Set the goals that suitable and reliable in your time limit to achieve it. Let say, your goal is "To have $10,000 in saving after 3 months", can you do it? Compare to the goal "To have $1,000,000 in saving after 3 months", is it achievable? Different people should be able to recognize their ability and be reasonable. Not impossible but be reasonable and work hard towards your goal.

Those who just dream towards a goal with no working hard end up frustrated and disenchanted. The moon will not just fall on your lap. You need to build a rocket and fly to the moon.

Then again, if you told someone a hundred years ago that it was possible for man to be on the moon, they would laugh at you. If you had told them that you could send mail from here to the other side of the world in a few seconds, they would say you were out of your mind. But, through sheer aspiration and determination, these impossible dreams are now realities.

Thomas Edison once said that genius is 1 perspiration. Nothing could be truer. For one to achieve his or her dreams, there has to be had effort and discipline. But take note that that 1% has to be a think-big dream, and not some easily accomplished one.

Ask any gym rat and he or she will tell you that there can be no gains unless you are put out of your comfort zone. Remember the saying, "No pain, no gain"? That is as true as it can be.

So dream on, pal! Don't get trapped with your perceived limitations. Imagine big and work hard to reach those dreams. As you step up the stepladder of development, you will just about find out that the impossible has very soon become a slight bit more possible.
