STRATEGIC WAYS TO BUILD YOUR LIST:

What are some of the most strategic ways to build a list?

Well first, you need to think of what makes the list building strategic. What advantage is there in applying one principal versus another.

I believe the strategies that produce the highest number of quality opt ins in the lowest amount of time for the least expense that makes a certain strategy more correct for use than using the others. By measuring and rating, using testing and tracking the links clicked, you can ascertain which strategies are the working best.

For instance, there are a high number of opt-ins at co registration leads at ezine ad swaps or giveaway sites, you will maintain a more loyal and responsive list by concentrating on the higher qualilty "in house" list versus leads that are obtained from someone else's list.

The reason is evident. When signing up through co-registration, the subscriber may feel used because they know the call to action made them sign up in order to obtain the download, that they are being viewed as a number in a system versus the customer to the business.

When list builders pick up on this and work to resolve this by using overwhelmingly higher value than most to bribe their subscribers into opting in, and then not hounding them every day with several junk offers, but actually offering a welcome and genuine concern in helping the new subscriber build their business, then they will experience a much higher opt-in rate with fewer subscribers ever even opting out.

One of my favorite free downloads to offer is an ebook or software analyzing the competitive keywords in a given niche, finding out who is ahead in customer loyalty and popular in the public eye and then offering their best selling product for free as a reward for opting-in to your list.

That tip that you just read has magic in it.

Think of how and why it works and then put it into practice. This is positioning yourself to receive higher profits from those that discover they can save money by opting-in to your list and then they will buy from you.

Realize all the marketing and advertising of their product they are doing. wWhen they do this, they are creating the market for that particular best selling product. By buying your competitor's best selling product and then offering it free, you are benefiting from their marketing of their product, but in turn, you are getting them to advertise your opt-in list opportunity. It works well for both of you.
