Italian Language teaching to foreigners has steadily become a vital part of language education in our country. Italian society has grown up, and integration and internationalization are one of the biggest issues in today’s Italy.

Teaching and learning Italian as L2/LS are two aspects that necessarily go together: one cannot teach anything if not ready to absorb and re-elaborate concepts, information and points of view coming from other people and cultures, in a continuous process that implies growth in all senses, from a mere improvement of language ability to a more complex personal path leading to knowledge of others as well as ourselves.

Teaching Italian as a Foreign/Second language is, first of all, a process of exchange: we firmly believe that the role of "teacher" is both transmitting and taking, putting his/her activity into continuous discussion.

The possibility to share and improve are probably the most fascinating part of the Italian language teaching profession: in today’s education market, being a professional and qualified teacher has become a must, and Scuola Leonardo da Vinci Milano’s Teachers’ Training Courses/Ditals Preparation Courses are the perfect answers to the latest issues in the Education and Learning debate: you will explore both the theory, needed for obtaining Ditals Certificate, essential to be qualified and competitive, and the practical side of the job, with simulations, discussions, project-work, together with a full training provided at the end of our Italian Language Teachers’ Training Course through our free internship programme.

Scuola Leonardo da Vinci Milano’s next Italian language Teachers’ Training course/Ditals Certificate Preparation Course will start on September 21st: the Italian Language Teachers’ Training Course has a duration of 2 weeks, full-time, for a total of 70 hours.

You can also choose to attend only the first part of the course, our Ditals Certificate Preparation Course, that will give you in a glance all the necessary instruments to face Ditals Examination. This module lasts one week for as total of 30 hours and represents the first module of our full Italian Language Teachers’ Training Course.

Our courses are held three times a year: they all lead to obtaining Ditals Qualification, a diploma issued by Università per Stranieri di Siena which is to be considered the only official certificate proving competence in Italian language teaching to foreigners (Italian L2/LS), recognised by institutions and schools in Italy and abroad.

For all participants to both our Italian Language Teachers’ Training Course and Ditals Examination Preparation Course, there is the possibility to continue with a full-time or part-time internship programme, that will enable them to acquire a broad and varied experience in our classes.

Our instructors are ready to share their experience and enthusiasm in a professional and friendly manner: come and enjoy Scuola Leonardo da Vinci Milano’s philosophy in our unique communicative school.

We are here to share what we know better, and learn from you.
