Hotel industry is one among the most successful and lucrative industries in today’s world. A reasonably good fraction ofhotel jobsincludes housekeeping supervisor, waiters/waitresses, attendants, bellboys, laundry attendants and bar boys/girls that are the young mass of the hotel staff. The person needs to be good natured, patient and hard working because at several times he has to face different moods of the guests and so needs to handle them with care and intelligence. They are expected to be attentive, quick and efficient in performing their job and at the same time courteous. A several places practical training courses are available for such hotel jobs.

The heart of a hotel is the kitchen and the pacemaker is the Chef. Chef jobs are one of the very high demand hotel jobs. One needs to be creative and passionate about this kind of job to excel in it. Related professional qualification is preferred for this. Several short term training programs and diploma courses are available for Chef jobs. A couple of years of experience always adds to the credentials of the candidate.

One important thing in all kinds of hotel jobs is that to be successful one should have a passion for such work. One should get pleasure on seeing the guests satisfied. The thumb rule says "never disappoint a guest".
