5) What Happens When I Plateau

Sometimes you are certainly going to plateau for a while where your weight loss will tend to slow down or stop and by having a diary you will be able to look at the areas that you might want to adjust or change to get over the plateau period. Plateau periods can be quite disheartening as your body is adjusting to the changes you are putting it through. Even a small step forward is better than sitting down and quitting! Losing weight is never easy as you have become accustomed to the way you are over a period of time. To turn things around and change what you have become to accept will take some time and perhaps some failures. Setting goals is one way to achieve your desired weight loss but you will need to find a weight loss program that is easy to follow and one that works.

Setting goals should be as fundamental as a good weight loss program to succeed. Keep your eyes on your goal, stay focused and don't look left or right and never look behind you. Keep moving toward your ultimate goal, even on the days you seem to be crawling and before you know it, you will be racing ahead towards fulfillment of your dreams.
