Dream your way to healthy weight loss by committing to a course of action on a daily basis, at the start and end of the day.

Make your plans a part of your dreams as you give yourself a positive feeling about healthy weight loss. When you repeat your commitment to good habits regarding your physical and mental well being, you will find yourself adjusting. It is not sufficient to give your brain a goal; you need to equip it with the tools to help you reach the goal. If you have decided to avoid fried foods, you will face resistance internally. On the other hand, if you train your brain into looking upon fried foods as undesirable in effect, you will soon find that your brain does not drive you towards consuming them.

Mental plan

It is great to put down a healthy weight loss diet plan that is stuck on the fridge door or any place where you can see it every day. Track your achievements against what you have planned on a daily basis. There is a loophole in this exercise. You might have decided to stop consuming biscuits but found a substitute in the form of sweetened bread. This is not likely to help you towards your goal. Make a mental note to be wary of consuming anything sweet at the time when you normally consume this sweet item. When the craving for the sweet food comes along, eat a bread stick dipped in a cup of unsweetened tea. Alternately, consume peanuts or a small portion of walnuts and almonds. You will find your craving has disappeared.

Wake up positive

Make the start to your day a confirmation of your commitment to healthy weight loss. You will give in to temptations by allowing your taste buds just a slight amount to luxuriate in and then withdraw. Recall all that you have planned for the day. If you have planned a half hour walk in the morning, do not dawdle, start out immediately. Some mornings you just do not feel good, treat those as the days of rest from rigorous exercise and opt for simple stretching exercises or go into meditation. If you wake up late and are unable to think about your day ahead, no problem, just keep an eye on what you eat.

Wait before you eat

Most of the time, your plans of healthy weight loss are thwarted by your tendency to eat without thinking. It is necessary to wait until you are extremely hungry before you start eating a meal. Do not drink water before your meal and eat just enough to make you feel full. If there is a sweet that you want to have, do so after two hours. If the sweet cannot be kept aside for that long, take a spoonful and share it with your friends who can do with some weight gain.

Prepare for a party

If you have to attend a party, get yourself mentally prepared. Go with the knowledge that healthy weight loss is affected by anything that upsets your system. Identify the items that you definitely want to try and take a small serving of those items. Fill up on soup and bread to ensure that you stay away from excess eating.

I agree with your mental plan. I also believe just having a plan and sticking to it has worked for me. But I also feel that supplements go a long way during any diet to give your body the nutrients it needs to stay strong.
