RAW FOODS---Can you live to 100 plus on the Raw Food Diet?

If you were to do a survey of a group of people asking the question "who wants to live to be over 100"? you might assume you'd get a resounding "I DO"!

Not neccesarily. Why? Because a lot depends on a person's state of health. If they are sick,physically,mentally or emotionally they might even dread the dawn of each new day.

They might even want to 'check out' of life sooner rather than later,to escape the pain of suffering.We hear of the controversy surrounding the Euphanasia issue all the time in the media.

So,I guess I`m saying that not everyone,clearly, would want to live to be a centenarian,unless they were in a reasonable state of health to begin with. Then,I think the answer would be in the affirmative. After all,when you are young,fit and healthy every new day becomes an adventure,and your'e thrilled to be alive.

Whatever category you may be in at the moment, as you read this article,let me assure you that there is an open door to a longer more abundant and productive life for you,starting from now.

The real question is; will you dare to go through that unfamiliar doorway into a life of change? Not everyone will. If you decide to change your life,you will have to change your diet. Why? Because,as you've doubtless heard "You are what you eat".

I did a study on the fascinating people of the Hunza region of Northern Pakistan,and similar tribal people. I discovered that they live longer than any other tribal group in the World that we know of. Many live well over 100.They have achieved a mind boggling fitness and longevity.

Old men do physical work in their 80's and 90's that would phase much younger men! If you have ever seen the Hollywood movie of many years ago James Hiltons "Lost Horizon" you may recall it was all about the Hunza people and their amazing lifestyle. Some thought it was fictional.

What is their secret? Simple. Its their diet of mostly raw fruits,vegetables and nuts. Little is cooked. They also have of course fresh air and exercise plus a peace-loving and positive outlook.

Cooking food at temperatures above 116 degrees fahrenheit has an adverse effect on foods,destroying the living food enzymes,and altering the chemical effects of proteins and denuding the food of most of its life force.

Since life comes from life,why do we kill the enzymes with cooking? Suffice to say,we do it out of ignorance of dietary laws,and because we live lives dictated by habit. After all, man has been cooking food for a very long time!

When you cook food,you change it's nutritional make-up to such a degree,that you might just as well eat cardboard.

So,adopting a mainly raw diet lifestyle,coupled with exercise and fresh air,will not only give us optimum health,more energy, clearer skin ,better quality sleep,but even extend our life span to way beyond the usual "three score years and ten".

Many people are following this sort of lifestyle,and they aren't all in the Hollwood set either . Many are already advanced in years--but giving younger folk something to think about as they look and act far younger than their birth age.

So,as I conclude this article,yes,I really do believe that by the grace of God,and following this new yet ancient way of life, one really can,as the title of this piece says "Live to be 100 plus with the Raw Food diet".

A final word; Do you suppose that one of the pioneers of this movement, Dr Norman Walker knew a thing or two? He lived to be 99 !
