Son Vida designed by Fred Hawtree is the oldest golf course in Majorca and has become the most impressive golf course on the island now. It is situated about 10 kilometers from Palma, and is close to S´Esglaieta. It opened for play in the late fifties, and plays to the par of 71. With its renovation the greens and the fairways of final last five holes have been reshaped under the direction of the architect of the course Kurt Rossknecht. The length of the course was also increased by about 80 meters.
