At first glance, the Nintendo Wii system looks like it was pulled out from the Apple hardware line because of its aesthetic appeal and pure white cover with gray shades. Measuring only six inches wide, about two inches tall and 8.5 inches long, the Wii system can be positioned vertically or horizontally.

The highlights of the Wii Nintendo system include wireless internet connection, innovative motion-sensing remote controls, wireless controllers and a handful of useful features and services.

The Nintendo Wii system is the most recent system that Nintendo has come out with, and in terms of numbers, it is the fifth video game console that they have ever produced. The Nintendo Wii system is incredibly popular across the world, and there are many reasons for this. Basically the Nintendo Wii system is more advanced and enjoyable than any other Nintendo video game console yet, and thus it is incredibly liked among the general public.

One of the best features of the Wii revolve around the simple-designed remote or “wii-motes” that offers users a more flexible and comfortable gaming experience. It serves as a pointing device, rumble device, speaker and other functions. You can also add a Wii nunchuck that allows you to play off-hand by simply using two buttons.

The system overall is not that expensive as well, and so all in all it is a really great buy. The reviews on the system have been generally positive, although there has been a constant fear that due to the change of the name from Revolution to Wii, that it is targeting younger people rather than adults as well.

There are also many internal features that are relevant here, such as the fact of the WiConnect24, which is basically what enables the system to be able to receive messages and updates over the Internet, while at the same time managing to consume only very little electrical power.

The Wii console is one which is considered as being Nintendo’s smallest unit to date, and the console can also be placed either horizontally or vertically, and the prefix for the numbering of the actual system and its parts and accessories is “RVL” – after its project code name of “Revolution”; the system was first named Revolution, but they then changed it to Wii because it was easy to pronounce in all languages and easy to remember as well.

If you are looking to purchase this system for yourself, then there are really many different places that you can go to. The best idea is to start off by going to your local large retailer, and that means the nearby Sears or Walmart, for instance, at which you are sure to be able to find the system. As well, if you want you can actually call the company and they will be able to notify you of the closest place around you where you would be able to find the Wii system.

There are many other issues regarding the Nintendo Wii system that need to be discussed, such as the fact that there is a wireless controller, which is known as the Wii remote, and this remote is great because it can be used as a handheld pointing device and as well it is able to detect motion and rotation in three dimensions.
