Some of them include several vegetables wrapped with the fajita and pico de gallo sauce. Fajita is known as a Tex-Mex food since it is a combination of two different flavors, the Texas and Mexico. Fajita Recipe
You would need the following ingredients. Remember to use the given quantities for perfect taste.
Lime marinade
1.5 pound of Skirt Steak
1 green or red bell pepper
1 small onion
3 tomatoes
Cheese to taste
Pico de gallo sauce
Flour tortillas
Cut the skirt steak and marinate it in lime by keeping it in a sealed container. Refrigerate the steak for at least one hour. To prepare the lime marinade, you would require 4 to 5 limes, half a cup of red wine, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon light molasses, few cilantro leaves, minced garlic cloves (2), half a teaspoon of ground cumin, and black pepper. Remove the steak from fridge and allow it to come back to room temperature. Put it in a barbecue for approximately 5 minutes. Do not discard the lime marinade. In fact, you can add a few spoons of it to the steak while it is placed in the barbecue. Now preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and cook the skirt steak for another 3 minutes. Heat the flour tortillas in a microwave until they are hot.
Also, grill pepper and onion for few minutes until onion turns pink. Wrap the skirt steak, onion, and bell pepper in the warm tortillas, add tomatoes and cheese, and serve hot. Enjoy the delicious fajita. Isn’t it simple and easy?
