Swimsuits and designer swim wear caters for an enormous variety of shapes and sizes. Swim suits have to stretch over bulges and bumps and still look attractive when the mission is accomplished. This can be no mean feat when we take a cross section of the population and put a swim suit on them. Most of us at some stage in our lives will own a swim suit, whether it is a child's swim suit or a swim suit for a teenager or adult. The opportunity does come along where we can visit the beach or a pool where a swim suit will be a necessity.

A well designed and cut swim suit flatters all female forms because it shows off curves rather than flesh. There is no such thing as a typical female body apart from certain anatomical parts but these parts come in all shapes and sizes. When a woman wears a swim suit she is exposing a large quantity of flesh open to public viewing so she needs to be very comfortable in what she wears to do this with grace and dignity. A mature woman wearing well designed bathers that flatter her body build is ageless.

Look or a high Spandex content on the swimsuit tag. A suit that has a higher amount of this stretchy material will hold its shape longer and help keep bulges under control.

Buy at least two suits if you will be wearing swimwear more than two days in a row. Spandex requires about a day to dry thoroughly and return to its original shape.

Wash your swimsuit with mild detergent (use shampoo, in a pinch) after each use. It's not enough just to rinse it out because plain water will not remove chlorine or salt. Do not wring the water out of your suit. This can cause streaking and stretching.

Never place your swim suit in the washing machine and/or dryer. Both will deteriorate the Spandex and ruin the built-in bra cups. One of the main reasons that plus size suits are expensive is because of the sewn-in foundations, so always, hand wash your swimwear.

Wearing a big t-shirt over the suit has been practically a religion for beach goers. Sure, it's convenient as hell. You open that closet and get the first shirt you see out of there and over your head - uncomplicated albeit a little bit on the derelict side. You have to give your old house cotton shirts and towels a break, people!

Also, when shopping for a bathing suit top for a bigger chested girl always keep in mind that support needs to be one of your top priorities .This mean that strapless style swim suits, no matter how good the support may seem, will fail you larger breasted ladies in the end. The strapless swim suit is uncomfortable and nonsupporting. The best bathing suit a busty girl can buy is one that has good, strong straps and maybe even an underwire bra built in. But, this depends on how comfortable you are with an underwire. If your smaller on bottom be cautious of the line of your leg. Bathing suits with shorts or a skirt can be very unflattering for those lacking some booty.
