Diabetes is the root cause of various health problems. Diabetes is the only disease that is being linked to the maximum health complications. Diabetes is basically the disorder that is caused by the frequent abnormalities in the sugar levels in the body. Whether the sugar level is more or less, you suffer with the diabetes. The only way to stay away from diabetes is to keep sugar levels in the normal range. About 33% of the people worldwide are suffering with the diabetes. The person suffering with the diabetes is double the times prone to the other health complications because his/her immune system is weakened by the diabetes. In some cases the diabetes is noted to be inherited from the parent to the offspring. This means it is some type of genetic disorder.

Diabetes is being closely linked to the cardiovascular health disorders. Majority of the patients are noted to be suffering with the heart problems. Angina pectoris is observed more commonly among the diabetes patients. The sugar levels in the body disturb the blood supply to the heart as the blood is high in density due to the rich sugar content in the blood. This way the blood supply to the heart is insufficient that ultimately leads to the heart failure. Atherosclerosis is another heart problem that is being noted commonly in the diabetes patients. The more amounts of the sugars are produced due to the fats and carbohydrates in the body. These fats lead to the formation of the plaque that gets deposited in the arteries, thus leading the occurrence of the atherosclerosis.

Diabetes is caused when the pancreas in the human body fail to produce the enough amount of the insulin to digest the sugars. This way the sugar enters the blood stream, which causes the diabetes. As the sugar enters the blood stream it makes the blood heavy and disturbs the pressure of the blood. The high blood pressure is being noted commonly among the diabetes patients. Diabetes patients are like the open to all disease people as there immune system is very weak. The occurrence of the infections is often noted in diabetes patients. Diabetes patients suffer with the common cold and flu very often.

The sexual health is being degraded due to the diabetes. The problems like sexual dysfunction are being noted commonly in the women suffering with the diabetes. Diabetic women face the problem in conceiving the child as excessive amount of sugars in the body disturbs the ovulation phase or destructs the way through which sperms reach the ovule. On the other hand, men with diabetes face the problem of the erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation. Insufficient sperm count is common among the diabetic men as the production of the sperms is being retarded due to the diabetes.

Diabetes is also being linked to the kidney and liver disorders. Kidney stone formation occurs due to the excessive amount of the sugar in the body. Abnormal functioning of the liver is observed commonly in the diabetic patients. Ocular abnormalities are the result of the high sugar levels in the body. The retina is damaged due to the diabetes and it may result in the permanent blindness if the proper care is not taken. Arthritis and osteoarthritis occurrence is seen to be occurring in the diabetic patients. Diabetes disturbs the friction movement in the joints by reducing the synovial fluid concentration in the joints. This leads to the pain in the joints. Hormonal imbalance occurs due to the fluctuation in the sugar levels. So, various health complications result due to the diabetes. Thus, try to maintain the sugar levels in your body at normal range in order to stay healthy.
