Acne is a skin disease very common in teenagers. Millions of teenagers suffer from acne around the world. Many teenagers at some point in their lives are going to get acne mostly due to hormonal changes. These changes will irritate the sebaceous glands which are the oil glands of the skin and the result is your skin will produce more oil. That's why you see teenagers with oily faces. When this occurs, the pores of your skin will become clogged by the sebum and they will open as hard plugs resulting in the formation of acne.

Unfortunately for some teenagers, they are still affected by their acne even after becoming adults and they can't seem to get rid of it. A teenager acne treatment is recommended because the acne just won't disappear like that. There are multiple ways to treat acne. You can consult a dermatologist who can prescribe you an acne treatment with products that you'll need like an acne cream, gel, soap, acne antibiotics(depending on the severity of your acne) or you can try some of the natural acne remedies by yourself and see if they work for you.

Natural acne cures are usually safe and reliable. For instance, me when I was a teenager, I took care of my acne the natural way by using herbal teas like the popular dried green tea leaves. If you have read other articles on my site, you'll discover how I laid emphasis on green tea because it has worked for me and I believe now how powerful simple natural things can be. If you want to learn more about this natural acne home remedy, read my article "Acne Tips - Curing Your Acne At First Sight". This article is interesting as well "Acne Sufferer - Home Remedy To Treat, Cure and Clear Up Acne Zits".

There are also other remedies you can use by yourself. There are acne products which have natural healing ingredients like the aloe vera cream, gel, soap, shampoo. You can shower with the soap and wash your hair with the shampoo and use the cream or gel after to soothe your acne and skin. The healing power of aloe vera resides in its ability to provide oxygen to the skin and thus refreshes and alleviates your skin. Another product is the green tea acne cream which also has curing benefits.

So by choosing one of these acne solutions or a combination, you can put your acne to test and see if there is any improvement in the weeks to come. But don't forget that the key to heal your acne is to be consistent in your treatment and follow it everyday. If not, it can take much more time or it won't be as effective.
