Sleeping Disorders and some of the causes

Sleeping Disorders is best described as a feeling of fatigue that one feels when he or she wakes up. The individual would feel tired or having a feeling for not having slept enough despite spending the scientifically recommended 8 hours. This can be as a result of tossing in the bed or just staying awake watching TV.

Eating dinner late may cause difficulty in sleeping though this will only be a problem if it becomes a habit. Having dinner then going to sleep immediately may be uncomfortable and hence prevent one from sleeping as on will toss in bed trying to get the best position only to find that the next moment it time to wake up to go to work. It is normally recommended that dinner is taken at least one to 2 hours before bed time. This gives food time to be digested and hence the body will be free the moment one retires to bed.

Taking caffeine related beverages before going to bed is a cause for none sleeping nights for some individuals. Caffeine is known to be a stimulant which will keep you awake and hence deprive of needed sleep.

A Feeling of not having slept is a common occurrence in today’s world. We have too much pressure at work or at school and this means all the problems we carry them home with us. When sleep time comes we think about all that happened at work, pending tasks or even plan for the next while we are asleep. This means we are sleeping while our brain is working –result waking up with a "hangover". The red eyes indication no sleep with perennial headaches becomes the norm and may soon lead to additional problems such as migraines.

TV addiction is another cause for sleep disorder. Flipping through TV channels into the wee hours of the night soon become a problem and hence we do not have sleep at the normal body clock time but only want to start sleeping when dawn in setting in whereas we should be starting a new day fresh after having a night rest. Watching TV may sound like a simple thing yet it can become addictive and prevent any constructive work.

Lack of sleep will soon lead to lack of concentration in what one is doing. This leads to low productivity at work place. This can be avoided by following this simple do it yourself remedies. Having a hot shower before some minutes before bedtime might prepare the body for relaxation and hence sleep can check-in easily. Exercising at the gym also prepares the body for sleep as mild exhaustion might just be the right catalyst for sleep.
