Would it not be nice if you could avoid bad habits instead of having to quit them after starting? There are just too many to keep vigil on them all, therefore habit forming practices should be watched carefully, a process that will help to eliminate more bad habits than one would care to calculate.

Every bad habit can be eliminated, some more difficult than others. Substances that ruin and hamper the happy existence but at the same time bring temporary relief either to stress or other physiological or psychological pulls are very difficult habits to break and one should be extremely careful never to accommodate even the thought of using such substances, they are deadly. Getting away from such habits sometimes seem impossible. The chemistry of the body’s physiology changes to a perfect adaptation of those cruel substances, controlling the mind in creating the need for them. (substances)

Other bad habits are a matter of degree, even eating. Many people realize that they will gain lots of weight if they do not take action. However, you cannot just stop eating , you must make a choice in what to eat and how much. Poor hygiene that could cause the break down of health, are habits that could be cured by simply taking action .There are no chemical physiological pull associated with those habits, however if not curbed could lead to serious dangers.

There are habits formed in relationships that inevitably lead to disaster. Good habits in a marriage or friendship stems from thoroughness and communication. Understanding the dangers inherent in following certain patterns of behavior or, the inability to understand the consequences owing to an impaired mental vision sometimes brought about by prior bad habits, .is sometimes extremely difficult for some people. Adjusting to relationships with paralyzing habits, even more so life threatening habits, is a complex problem.

Habits are traits of character that dictate how an individual responds to external as well as internal stimuli. These are formed traits and impact us in every department of our lives; health, work, relationship, personal hygiene, physiologically and psychologically .

Avoiding bad habits is not only a duty and responsibility to ourselves, but to the society at large.

Vigilance must be applied as a constant to controlling run-away behavior patterns, in order to curb the menace of bad habits.
