Assistant availability:
After orthopedic surgery, at least up to 15 days you need all time assistant to help your daily activity. Assistant can be any one -your mom, dad, brother, sister or your sweet heart or any professional person who is physically strong enough to assist you and loves to take care you. No need that he/she has any medical knowledge at all.

Suitable Space availability:
After orthopedic surgery, at least for few days you cannot move freely as other normal human being. Your movement may be restricted into some feet of a room. You have to find a suitable place where you can get all your daily need easily without moving from one place to another. For example, you should have attach bathroom .Food should be serve within that room any other entertainment facility like TV, Computer, music system will available in that room ,so that you do not need to move long hallways, high stairs or other obstacles to get any services. The room where you stay should be obstacles free or must have clear spaces to easy navigation.

Delicious Food Menu:
You can eat any normal food like any other person. If you planning to cook for yourself try to cook once in day and freezing it, so that you do not move your body after every hour. Your body needs rest to get settled. Better to have light food that is easy for your stomach.

Planning Your Medications:
You are the powerful person who medicate better yourself than all other medicine. Some orthopedic surgery need prescribed blood thinner and pain medication after surgery. Medications after surgery help you cure procedure faster. You need proper guideline to maintain this type of medication. Get advice from doctor or professional medicate personal.

Sweet home safety:
Your home should be safe enough for after surgery rehabilitation. Your home free from unsecured rugs, moving under table, piles of paper so that you can move freely within your home. You should add lighting to all darken space where you need to visit. If you plan to use staircase it should have railings.Your bathroom must have clean and dry surface. Slippery bathroom surfaces are very hazardous. You must use low cabinets or easy accessible cabinets.

Plan Some Activities:
Recuperation after a major surgery can be a very boring time. You must use your energy to any productive field; otherwise this energy will become a negative energy slow down your improvement process. Get a few books if you love to read book,watch movie on your DVD player, write a scrap book on your family vacation mementos or any type of activity that you cherish.

Medical facility:
In case of emergency, proper and quick medical facility should available to you. Keep all medical details with you, along with doctors contact no , hospitals or nursing home contact no ,ambulance contact no .Keep it in open place so that anyone coming for your help can easily notice it and access it. So that if you unfortunately not in a condition to response, proper medical treatment can be easily provided to you without losing valuable time.

Not all healing comes from the doctor’s hands or from the medicine. The quicker you heal, the quicker you get out of there! So hurry up and heal!
