Ayurveda is pronounced as "Aa-yur-vay-da" and stands for "science of life." Ayurveda originated in India about 10,000 years ago and since then this branch of science is reckoned as oldest healing science with number of other systems emerged from them. This ancient healing therapy system focuses on prevention of ailments and age reversal.

Ayurveda depicts the laws of nature which are often responsible for health or ailments. According to this healing science, the reason behind illness is lost faith in the Divine or emptiness due to lack of spirituality. This condition is a result of internal condition i.e. changes in food or liquid or external condition i.e. daily routine or lifestyle. The most common reasons behind majority of human ailments are poor digestive system and weak immunity.

Ayurveda can be termed unique as this spiritual and healing science offers numerous unique benefits. This branch deals with the root cause of ailments and do not believes in merely treating the symptoms of illness.
