Playing craps is not as complicated as you think. The first time you come to the table, make a small wager on the pass line / pass line. The pass line is the band that runs around the perimeter of the table, comprising the design of it.

The players throw two dice in turn. The player who throws is called a shooter. The other participants of the table can make bets on the shooter (the person who rolls the dice), or against him. The game is played in rounds, the first printing of a new round is called the come out roll. The second round is resolved when you take out a point or a seven.

The player must always bet the table minimum on the Pass line or the don't pass line. To some these are sometimes called "Winning" and "No Win". The player who goes after the shooter has the option to shoot or pass the dice. If passed, the dice will continue touring the table until someone wants to throw.

The pass line bet is a bet on the first roll of the dice, and wins if the result is 7 or 11 (also called the come-out roll). At the come-out roll, 7 and 11 are immediate winners, while if the shooter rolls 2, 3 or 12, then it is designated craps, which means it automatically loses.

Any other number establishes a point-line pass (no one wins or loses). At this point, the shooter's aim is to re-draw the same number before he rolls a 7. If you can get the pass line point before it goes 7, you win. But if you leave a 7 before obtaining it, you lose, and that hand is finished. In this case, the dice pass to another player, who becomes the new shooter.

Craps Betting

So if the shooter craps out no, nor a 7 or 11, which is a point out of the shooter / point number. When he gets it, you put another small amount of money next to the original bet (a bet right would be almost double the original bet). This bet "extra" is called odds bet / free-odds bet, or just odds bet.

The original bet (bet you did pass-line) is paid the same amount you bet, you win. The odds bet / bet odds, however, is paid as a true-odds money (with the percentage equivalent to the real possibilities of winning). So even if you made more money on this bet, the gain is significant because the margin is exactly 0 house (at the time that the house pays the money in the form of true odds, the house edge is always 0 . Almost all gambling in a casino is paying less than what would correspond to the actual odds of winning, what makes this business are very profitable).

This bet does not even appear in the layout of the craps table. This is because it is a great bet for the player, but not so good for the casino.

Playing with a pass line bet and then with a further free-odds if the shooter gets a point, is a strategy you can employ constantly on the table, with a very significant success. It's even more fun when your turn to be the shooter, because you'll have many other players waiting for you to succeed.

Anyway, to come up, bet on the pass line / pass line. Add additional bets / odds bets when the shooter gets one point. Although there are over 120 different types of bets you can make in craps when you're starting out, the strategy that will show on this page will get you into the game really fast.

Rules

When you have made the initial bet, the casino representative (also called stickman) offers the dice to the next shooter in line.

The shooter throws the dice and takes a "roll out / come out roll", which is the setpoint for the rest of the round.

If the roll is 2, 3 or 12, it is considered "crap" and the players lose their pass line bets. A run with a score of 7 or 11 is a "natural" and the betting line pass / pass line bets win, while those not pass / don 't pass bets lose.

If the output are the numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, the number in question becomes the "point" and ends out roll. Managers placed a button with the word "On" on the point number, so that all players at the table know what it is.

The shooter will have to keep throwing the dice until you get the point or a seven. If you get the point, the result is that the betting line pass / pass line bets win (and to not pass / don 't pass bets lose). If the shooter rolls a seven (called a "seven-out"), the pass line loses (and the pass not win). A seven-out ends the round, and the dice pass (in the sense of clockwise) to the next player who wants to become a shooter.

Pass Line Bets: The fundamental bet in craps, also called "line of gain / win line in some countries. A pass line bet wins immediately if the come out roll is equal to 7 or 11. If it is equal to 2, 3 or 12, the bet is lost (this is called "crapping out"). If the roll is of any value, establishes a point, whenever that point out again before rolling a seven, you win the bet. If, once established one point, you pulls out a seven before you see that point, the bet is lost ( "seven out"). The Pass line bets are paid the same amount wagered.

Don't Pass Line Bet: The bet Don't Pass Line is more or less the opposite of Pass Line bet. This is true in the sense that it loses if the come out roll pulls a 7 or 11, and wins if a 2 or 3. A 12 means a draw (this depends on the casino in some places, with 12 wins and 2 ties) in either case, the player never loses when it comes out on 12. The draw (the word "BAR" printed on the Craps table means "depart / standoff") with the 12 is done to ensure that the casino always get an allowance for home, regardless of whether players are betting on Pass / No pass. Some casinos offer "points of advantage / odds of 3 to 4-5X, where the maximum allowable odds on the bet depends on the point (three times if the point is 4 or 10, four if 5 or 9, and 5 if 6 or 8). This rule simplifies the calculation of profit: a bet with maximum likelihood / maximum odds bet on a table of 3 to 4-5X always pay six times the value of the Pass Line / Pass Line, regardless of the point taken.

Like betting on probability / odds bet is paid true odds (as opposed to the Pass Line, who always pay the same stake), playing pass odds bet on a minimum pass line decreases the margin of the house. An odds bet maximum / maximum odds bet on a minimum pass line / minumum pass line gives the house edge as low as possible in a casino.

Odds Do not Pass / Do not pass odds: If a player plays to not pass instead of pass, may also be more likely placing chips behind the line of not passing. If you get a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, then the manager will move the come bet a box representing the number who took the shot. Come bets can only be made after a point has been established, in a run-out, the come bet is placed on the Pass Line bet like an equal.

Because of the come bet, if the shooter rolls the point, any player can be in a situation where you have a come bet (probably with probabilities / odds on it) and the next roll is a come out roll.
