Maxell ensures high quality standards for its backup storage products. Maxell DDS4 is a compact and reliable storage tape that provides high level protection and superior cost performance. Maxell DDS4 tape is the ideal solution for your archiving requirements and high volume backups. These DDS4 tapes, part number 200028, provide capacity of up to 40GB (compressed data). Maxell 200028 DDS-4 tape cartridges are robustly designed for long term archiving and cost efficient backup. In native form, the Maxell 200028 media tape can hold 20 GB data. These low cost DDS4 tapes assure stable transitions, minimal error rate, enhanced reliability and higher efficiency due to their ultra-smooth tape surface.
Maxell has added a new feature called MRS (media recognition system) in its DDS4 backup tape, which has elevated its performance level. Maxell 200028 tape cartridges provide exceptional compatibility and excellent results with all the DDS 4 tape drives. Maxell has incorporated high quality magnetic media in its DDS-4 200028 storage tapes, which enables its customers to meet the strictest regulations and specifications regarding data retention.
Sony, Quantum, HP, Imation, and Dell also manufacture DDS-4 backup tapes. Respective part numbers of the DDS4 tape brands are: Sony DDS4 (DGD150PWW), Imation DDS 4 backup tape (40963), Quantum DDS-4 tapes (CDM40), HP DDS 4 (C5718A) and Dell DDS4 tape (09W083).
Maxell has engineered a new ceramic coating mechanism in which a robust magnetic ceramic layer covers the metal particles. This hard coating secures the tape medium of Maxell DDS-4 from the harmful effects of oxidation, humidity and heat. The Maxell DDS4 cartridge features useful life of 30 years and has the capability to provide consistent high performance up to 2,000 passes.
Maxell has further improved the output characteristics of DDS-4 200028 backup tape by introducing 4-S (symmetric slider spring structure). Tape cartridge’s slider section has been redesigned which assures smoother movement thus leading to stable media tracking. Unique architecture of Maxell DDS tape cartridges allows the data administrators to backup greater data amounts at a rapid speed. Innovative features of Maxell DDS-4 provide more flexibility and long term archiving. Advanced and innovative technologies embedded by Maxell build longer working life into each of the DDS4 200028 data storage cartridges. These DDS-4 backup tapes provide higher efficiency and minimal error rate. Now you can store more Maxell DDS-4 tape cartridges in lesser space due to their smaller size. Maxell uses super calendaring mechanism and smooth base film to give mirror finish to the magnetic layer. This is very helpful in reducing the spacing loss, which is the major cause of errors. High capacity Maxell 200028 tape cartridges enable smooth and stable transferring of data.
