A Dysphrenic migraine may keep you disabled, depending how often your attacks are. Many of you that have migraines are not able to concentrate or think clearly during a migraine attack. I know they zap my wife.

But there is a rather unusual migraine attack, one that you as a migraine sufferer may not have ever heard of . This one is called a dysphrenic migraine.

Ever hear of it? Even my spell checker has never heard of that one.

With so many types of migraines such as the visual migraine, basilar migraine, and the complicated migraine, to name just a few, this migraine ranks with the worst.

What are the symptoms of Dysphrenic migraine?

Like we said above, many migraine sufferers can not think clearly. But if you suffer with this migraine it goes pass that.

You can have amnesia, or a total loss of memory, or be confused, agitated, and disoriented.Kind of a foggy feeling.

Most episodes last from a half hour to six hours. But the lasting effects can last up to twenty four hours.

The conditions can be severe, to the state of partial or generalized seizure activity or even coma in young kids.

These symptoms can occur with or without headache. People recover from this migraine attack with no lasting effects, but may not remember anything during the attack.

Take note to this. Some Dysphrenic migraine attacks occur after a head trauma. This could be called confusional migraine to.

If you happen to have these symptoms, and no headache specialist has determine what you suffer from, mention dysphrenic migraine and see if he has heard of it.It's also vague on the treatment that would be used for these headache symptoms.
