Meditation is the means of accessing the mysteries to your mind, unfolding the secret of life and issues related to it and realizing the fact that all is contained in us. One can use many different techniques as a starter but it is better to follow only simple and commonly used techniques to understand medication properly. As one advances in various meditative abilities, other aspects of medication can also be incorporated.

Sitting

From the aspect of Yoga, one should sit comfortably on the floor for a couple of hours making sure that he/she does not move. The main purpose behind this technique is facilitating maximum self-discovery with minimum effort and discomfort. In case you want to use this technique, you must find a place that has peace and where nobody's going to bother you. Make sure that you do not have distractions around you. You must sit on that area floor where you are comfortable. You should be able to hold the position in which you sit and make sure that you do not move for at least 20 minutes. You can meditate with either your eyes being closed or open.

Reclining Chair

The reclining chair is a great alternative technique to standing/sitting method. It caters perfectly to those people who often get uncomfortable while sitting for long periods. A lot of people also find it very disturbing to keep transiting from sitting and standing and vice versa. This technique boosts the blood flow and also provides relief from numbness and cramps.

You have to use a reclining chair for this type of medication. You also need to remove socks and shoes. By pressing together your feet’s soles, a strong focus point can be created for your meditation. You can sit very comfortably in the reclining chair and also close your eyes. Meditate by focusing on the light that keeps reflecting over your eyelids, creating a blinking effect.

You may use other techniques also but must make sure that you stay consistent about the time that you choose for medication. The best time for medication has been noted to be the early morning time, as soon as you wake up. The trick is meditating before beginning the day. This is because at this point of time, the mind is ultra clear and the body is calm.
