Generic Cialis belongs to a class of medications known under the name of PDE-5 inhibitors. These are used to treat cases of male dysfunctions, commonly referred to as impotence. Generic Cialis (Tadalafil) is a rather new drug for impotence; it has not been on the market for too long.
How does Generic Cialis work, you’ll ask. It is quite simple. This drug functions in pretty much the same way Viagra does, and its action is in that it blocks the enzyme called PDE-5, which is short for phosphodiesterase-5. The effect this action has is that of relaxing and widen the smooth muscles in the penis, thus allowing more blood to enter. This is how Generic Cialis can help you gain erections faster and more easily.
The usual dosage of Generic Cialis should not exceed 20 mg per day. The standard dosage administered in clinical testing to men suffering from erectile dysfunctions was of either 10 mg or 20 mg.
First time users of Generic Cialis will probably be pleased to hear, or find out for themselves, that the effects of this drug can show up as soon as sixteen minutes after you have taken it, and can last for twenty- four hours or more. By comparison, Viagra would seem less efficient than Generic Cialis, as the former usually works for no more than four hours, and its effects are visible after one hour. Those who suffer from erectile dysfunctions and take a Generic Cialis tablet every other day will have the substance built up in their bodies, which will enable them to have sex whenever they want to, with no fear that they might fail, provided that they give themselves reasonable intervals in between.
Clinical studies conducted for Generic Cialis have shown that its most common side effects are headaches, dyspepsia (an upset stomach after meals), myalgia (muscle pain), and back pains. However, it has been demonstrated that lower dosage of Generic Cialis leads to minimized side effects. Cardiovascular side effects are often associated with erectile dysfunction drug, but in the case of Generic Cialis, early clinical tests prove that this drug does not affect blood pressure in the same way that similar drugs do. Side effects are more likely to be experienced if you are over sixty-five.
Generic Cialis may interact with other medications that you may be using, which is why you have to consult with your physician, especially when taking nitrate medications, nitroprusside, erythromycin, mibefradil, cimetidine, azole antifungals, rifamycins, or medication for your high blood pressure. Before taking Generic Cialis, you should inform your doctor if you have one or more of the following conditions: heart problems (e.g. heart failure, angina, irregular heartbeats, heart attack), high or low blood pressure, liver or kidney problems, a bleeding disorder, blood cell problems, stomach ulcer, a physical deformity of the penis, or if you have had a stoke or an erection that lasted more than four hours. Having one of the conditions mentioned above does not automatically exclude the possibility for you to take Generic Cialis. It can only mean that the dosage needs to be adjusted for you.
Generic Cialis must be taken as it has been prescribed by your doctor. Each dose should be taken with a glass of water, and it does not need to be associated with a meal. However, it is strongly recommended that you do not exceed a number of five average drinks when taking Generic Cialis, because the combination of this drug and excessive amounts of alcohol can lead to increased side effects.
