Hi all,

I hope you are all well; I’m a person that loves attending motivational seminars, workshops and reading about the great motivational speakers around the world. I recently attended a seminar in Central London and I listened to a man called Jonny Wimborne.

During his show he said something that made me think.

He said:

“Be willing to do today that others don’t, to have tomorrow that others won’t”

Simple…….but true

Can you think of a time when you chose to do something and your friend or colleague said, “ahh….leave it, you can’t do it,it’s too hard” or “I know people that have spent ages trying to do that and failed...…let it go”

................................Am I sensing some nodding heads?

But for some reason you felt compelled to do it anyway…. My question to you

How did you feel when you completed that task, which they wanted you to leave?

…….a feeling of your own total self-control…..

…….a rush of independence or non conformity?

What ever you where feeling I bet it felt….gooood

I believe somebody else’s mentality does not have to be your reality

We here them everyday, stressing the word YOU

“I wouldn’t bother trying, YOU will find it too difficult” or "YOU can’t do it that way it’s full of problems!!!” Think about it......What is your work colleague or friend really saying?

“I don’t believe you’re capable of doing it?” Maybe…..

”I’ve tried doing it and it didn’t work for me ….so it definitely won’t for you”

There words may sound funny or you might feel flattered that their giving you advice.

But think about it....... you have accepted their mentality and made it your reality? mmmmmmm………..scary!!!!

They might be your best friend but they are still saying

"I don’t believe that YOU can do it…." That’s their MENTALITY ABOUT YOU

I believe no one has the right to say what you are or not capable of? As individuals WE don’t know what we are really capable of

SO HOW WOULD THEY KNOW?

Also remember

There are many people out there that measure your possibilities based on their own failures............mmmmmmm.

When your next in your office or amongst friends listen for the person who recommends that YOU don’t bother trying to do something that you've suggested. Think about what they are saying about YOU?

And yes............................prove them wrong

If i’ve made you think differently please let me know

Have a great week Peace to you all.
