It seems like more and more people want toWork From Home On The Internet, but does it really work? Let me give you my own personal opinion. I work from home; I make great money. Am I getting rich? Hardly. Am I happy? Yes.

Working from home is hard work. People who fail at their work from home ventures do not succeed because they do not want to put the time and effort into making it work. A majority of the people who sign up for work at home projects expect to click a button and instantly make money. It does not work that way.

I get email all the time from people wanting to know if they have to do this or that in order to make money with a particular program. I tell them you get out of it what you put into it. Investing $30 to $50 initially, or monthly, is such a small amount to run an at home business compared to someone starting a brick and mortar business. People who invest the money, make nothing, then call it a scam, are usually people who did not want to invest time in making the business work.

I have a work from home website as one of my many online businesses. I try and put as many opportunities on my site that offer free information. Getting information is one way to choose a business that can work for you. Unfortunately, if you cannot give the business you choose at least 2 hours a day of your time, you probably will not succeed.

I run three businesses of my own online. I have a special needs child who takes up most of my time so I have to work late into the night in order to keep my businesses afloat. It is worth it to me because I can stay home with my kids. I do not see myself ever-getting rich beyond my wildest dreams, but I do see myself making an income that helps support my family.

Does working at home work? You bet it does. With a little investment of money and time, any work from home business opportunity can be successful. It just depends on how bad you want it.
